ELC - Student Employment

New/Returning Students

If you're new to student employment, register at CSE Connects and conduct a job search. All on-campus and supported near-campus jobs are listed on the site with application instructions.

If you're a returning student employee, check out CSE Connects, find a job, interview and receive your promise of employment. Come to Henderson Hall to pick up a contract. Return the signed contract and receive your authorization to work.

Promise of Employment – Next Steps

Come to Henderson Hall and pick up paperwork to begin the process. These include:

Complete all paperwork and bring all forms back in one packet along with the appropriate, original documents to Henderson Hall. See the back of the I9 form for document requirements.

Once all forms and documents are complete, you will receive an authorization to work form, time sheet, instructions about when time sheets are due, the dates of pay, a copy of the student employment handbook and instructions on mandatory Student Employment Title IX training.

Federal Work Study Info

Federal Work Study students are eligible to be paid for some additional, off-campus community service opportunities, which are posted on CSE Connects. Need assistance? Visit our office!

International Student Info

Follow the steps for returning or new students above. The Office provides transportation to the Social Security office when you have a promise of employment. Other information about working can be found at the Office of International & Multicultural Affairs.
